Parafrazując słynne i kontrowersyjne słowa Lennona:
zombie są dziś popularniejsze od Jezusa. Tym bardziej, że Jezus jest pierwszym
(rzekomo) udokumentowanym przypadkiem zombie. W końcu po trzech dniach
zmartwychwstał, a od dwóch tysięcy lat jego religia pożera miliardy mózgów!
A jeszcze tak na fali bluźnierstw, które przy okazji
wpiszą się w aktualny klimat polityczny: czy gdyby Matka Boska poddała się
aborcji, to po trzech dniach znów byłaby w ciąży?
Po powyższym żenującym dowcipie prowadzącego możemy zająć
się zombie właściwymi. Czy ktoś może mi wytłumaczyć jaka jest geneza nagłych
marzeń o zombie-apokalipsie? Wszyscy szykują się na to wydarzenie, uzbrajają
się, piszą podręczniki…
Całkiem nieźle dałoby się zrozumieć, gdyby po wybuchu
popularności „Zmierzchu” zaczęto się uzbrajać na wampiry (bo przecież ucięcie
głowy, obcięcie uszu i napchanie ust czosnkiem dyniowatego Edwarda albo tej
jego drewnianej „ukochanej” byłoby wręcz religijną ekstazą). Ale kiedy ostatnio
powstał na tyle dobry film o żywych trupach, który mógłby tak zainspirować
masy? W 1968?
Hm, ale „Noc żywych trupów” ostatecznie budziła raczej
współczucie dla zombiaków, a niechęć do żywych. Coś nie tak. To może chodzi o
to, że filmy o zombie są obecnie takiej klasy jak niezapomniana „Martwica
mózgów” i szaleństwo na temat zombie-apokalipsy powstało na fali uwielbienia
dla kiczu?

Tak czy tak, co by o filmach o zombie nie sądzić, warto
się zastanowić, co ugotować w tym temacie. Móżdżek – odpada, podroby są dla
mnie jak kryptonit. Szukając substytutu poruszyłam ciężką pracą myślową własny
mózg i odkryłam, co następuje: taki np. móżdżek wołowy ma w sobie całe hordy
witaminy D. A że spora część ludzi może poszczycić się intelektem krów (a i to
byłby dla nich komplement), zaczęłam szukać czegoś, co również dostarcza dużo
tej witaminy. Ryby. Najlepiej byłoby więc zrobić rybę w galarecie (bo mózg jest
galaretowaty), ale… Ponieważ zombie stają się coraz bardziej mainstreamowe,
uznałam, że najlepszą potrawą będzie…
Sushi ze śledzia
Składniki:
- 100 g ryżu basmati,
- 2 płatki sushi nori,
- ogórek kiszony,
- szczypiorek,
- dwa płaty śledziowe typu matias,
- oliwa, cebula.
Na dzień przed planowanym podaniem sushi do słoika
upychamy śledzie ze skrojoną cebulką i zalewamy je oliwą. Następnego dnia
gotujemy ryż (basmati jest o połowę tańszy niż ryż do sushi, a w smaku nawet
lepszy) w sporej ilości wody – tak żeby po ugotowaniu ryż był lekko lekki.
Po ostudzeniu ryżu wykładamy jego warstwę na płatek nori,
na to kładziemy posiekanego ogórka i również posiekany szczypiorek, pasek śledziowy
i znów ryż. Zawijamy, kroimy, układamy na talerzu.
Biorąc pod uwagę, że ludzie, którzy z własnej woli na
„lunch” (zwłaszcza biznesowy) jadają sushi jako żywo przypominają zombich
(ślepe zapatrzenie i dążenie do tego, by być jak ci inni), uważam swój
dzisiejszy pomysł za całkiem trafny. I tego się trzymajmy.
Smacznego! Tym razem
do zobaczenia już za tydzień, a potem za tydzień i za tydzień! I tak do końca
świata. A to już w grudniu…

Zawsze zastanawiałam się nad tym, dlaczego króliki
kojarzą się z erotyzmem. Te wszystkie obcisłe stroje z pluszowymi uszami i
ogonkami, a o Playboyu to już nawet nie wspominam… Królik symbolem erotyzmu! Chcę
wierzyć, że to z powodu częstotliwości ich kopulowania (w sumie mądrość ludowa
powiada o chędożeniu jak u królików na wiosnę), a nie dlatego, że są małe i
puszyste – bo to zakrawałoby o jakiś niepokojący fetysz. Mnie w każdym razie
fakt posiadania w domu dwóch smosiołków (smok+osioł, jak w „Shreku”) skutecznie
wyleczył z najmniejszych nawet skojarzeń erotycznych z królikami. No bo jak od
czterech miesięcy ma się ślad po ugryzieniu, to chyba znaczy, że króliki są owszem, jadowite jak cholera, ale nie seksowne? Bo jeśli o łóżko chodzi, to co najwyżej mnie z
niego wyrzucają.
Marchewki gotujemy i mielimy je z pokrojonym ananasem (i
jego sokiem), oliwą, cukrem oraz jajkiem. Mąkę mieszamy z pozostałymi
składnikami, uzupełniamy pestkami (skórką pomarańczową), mieszamy z marchewkową
masą.
